Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026.
This policy explains what data EventWatch collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and a securely hashed password, plus your language preference.
- Monitor configurations — the URLs, keywords, symbols, and accounts you choose to watch, and how often to check them.
- Notification settings — your Telegram bot token and chat ID, email recipients, and phone number. Sensitive values are stored encrypted.
- Usage and billing records — event logs and credit transactions needed to operate your account.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your card number.
How we use information
We use your data to run the service: checking your monitors, sending alerts, managing credits, and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on our servers with industry-standard safeguards. Sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Third-party services
To deliver alerts and data we rely on a small number of processors: Telegram (message delivery), our email provider, Twilio (SMS and voice calls), Stripe (payments), the X API and Yahoo Finance (monitored data). Each processes only what it needs to perform its function.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your monitors, settings, and personal data are removed.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us from your account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site.
